Ethan Vasko

Oscar Smith, quarterback, 6-4, 210, junior

  • Two-time first-team All-Tidewater selection
  • Helped lead the Tigers to the Class 6 state title.
  • Accounted for 2,230 total yards and 34 touchdowns — and no interceptions.
  • In state championship game, he finished with 246 passing yards and three touchdowns, and also rushed for 173 yards and three more scores.

Jeff Foster

Lake Taylor, athlete, 6-1, 180, senior

  • Versatile playmaker for the Titans, accounted for 1,147 yards and 22 touchdowns at quarterback, had four interceptions and covered the opposing team’s top wide receiver at defensive back, and was the team’s kicker with 17 extra points and three field goals.
  • Helped lead the Titans to the state title game three times, including a state title in 2019 and runner-up this season.

Kevon King

Rodney Hammond

  • Two-time All-Tidewater selection who signed with Pittsburgh.
  • Rushed for 886 yards and nine touchdowns.

Tayon Holloway

Green Run, wide receiver, 6-1, 175, junior

  • Had 34 receptions for 487 yards, and rushed for 319 yards with 15 total touchdowns.
  • North Carolina commit and was the Beach District Player of the Year, and was first team all-district at wide receiver and defensive back.

Kole Jones

Oscar Smith, wide receiver, 5-11, 190, senior

  • Helped lead the Tigers to the Class 6 state title.
  • Was a weapon for the Tigers at every position with 13 receptions for 290 yards and seven TDs in the postseason, but also had three interceptions at defensive back, and had five returns for touchdowns.

Ahmarian Granger

Maury, wide receiver, 6-1, 190, junior

  • Accounted for 1,264 all-purpose yards and 15 touchdowns at wide receiver and quarterback.
  • “He is electric offensively, playing many different positions, and then doesn’t give up a single catch all year defensively while guarding the opposing team’s best wide receiver.” — Maury coach Dyrri McCain.

Toby Harrington

Woodside, lineman, 6-0, 205, senior

  • Two-time first-team All-Tidewater selection.
  • Four-year starter for the Wolverines.

Marquis Kimble

Oscar Smith, lineman, 6-3, 225, senior

  • Helped lead the Tigers to the Class 6 state title.
  • Two-time first-team All-Tidewater selection who allowed no sacks for an offense that averaged 50 points a game and nearly 460 yards of offense.

Isaiah Montgomery

Landstown, lineman, 6-5, 280, junior

  • Two-time All-Beach District selection.
  • Had 38 pancake blocks and has more than 30 Division I offers.

Maarten Woudsma

Oscar Smith, lineman, 6-5, 315, junior

  • Helped lead the Tigers to the Class 6 state title.
  • Two-time All-Tidewater selection on an offense that averaged 50 points a game and nearly 460 yards of offense.

Tommy Gardner

Lafayette, lineman, 6-3, 320, senior

  • Helped lead the Rams to the Class 3 state title.
  • He was a first-team All-Class 3 Region A selection for an offense that averaged 43 points and was the lead blocker for quarterback Luke Hanson’s 11 touchdown runs inside 2 yards.

Isaiah Smith

Bethel, tight end, 6-2, 225, senior

  • Accounted for more than 500 all-purpose yards and six touchdowns as a receiver and rusher.
  • Had more than 150 return yards, including one touchdown.

Ethan Sneddon

Poquoson, kicker, 6-0, 155, junior

  • Made 14 of 15 extra points and was perfect on four field goals, including a season-long 41 yarder.
  • Kicked 10 touchbacks.

Defense

Caleb Jones

Oscar Smith, lineman, 6-0, 315, junior

  • Two-time All-Tidewater selection who helped lead the Tigers to the Class 6 state title.
  • Had 56 tackles, including 37 for loss, and 12 sacks

Naquan Brown

  • Had 35 tackles, six sacks and five pass breakups.

Isaiah Thompson

Lake Taylor, lineman, 6-2, 280, junior

  • Helped the Titans finish state runner-up in Class 4.
  • A two-way starter, Thompson helped control the defensive line with 33 tackles.

Keondre Hodges

Oscar Smith, lineman, 6-2, 270, senior

  • Helped lead the Tigers to the Class 6 state title.
  • A key player on a dominating defensive line, he had 49 tackles, 28 for loss, and 11 sacks.

Mike Green

Lafayette, lineman, 6-4, 215, senior

  • Had 12 tackles and two sacks to help lead the Rams to the Class 3 state title
  • Green, who will play for Virginia, also played wide receiver. “Watch the three playoff games versus Phoebus, Independence, and Lord Botetourt. We were underdogs in two of those games, and down three starters. He carried this team to a state championship.” — Lafayette coach Andy Linn.

Sam Boyer

Lafayette, linebacker, 6-2, 200, junior

  • Helped lead the Rams to the Class 3 state title.
  • He averaged 10 tackles and was the Class 3 Region A Defensive Player of the Year.

Darious Speight

Lake Taylor, linebacker, 6-2, 185, senior

  • Helped the Titans finish state runner-up in Class 4.
  • Had 13 sacks, nine quarterback hurries and forced five fumbles; also had 16 receptions for 360 yards and six TDs.

Tae’Ron Richardson

Oscar Smith, linebacker, 5-10, 220, senior

  • Helped lead the Tigers to the Class 6 state title.
  • Was the heart of the Tigers defense and recorded 60 tackles, 19 for loss, with four interceptions and two sacks.

Ibri Harrell

Phoebus, linebacker, 6-2, 250, senior

  • First-team All-Class 3 Region A selection.
  • Key figure on the Phantoms’ defense who signed with Georgetown.

Jalen Jones

Deep Creek, defensive back, 6-1, 175, senior

  • Had five interceptions at defensive back, and had 25 receptions for 403 yards and five TDs — all team-highs.

Kymari Gray

Phoebus, defensive back, 6-3, 200, junior

  • Two-time All-Tidewater and first-team All-Class 3 Region A pick.
  • Averaged five tackles a game and had four interceptions, including two he returned for touchdowns in a win over Hopewell in the region playoffs.

Pierre Royster

Lake Taylor, defensive back, 6-2, 190, senior

  • Helped the Titans finish state runner-up in Class 4.
  • Two-time All-Tidewater selection who had 43 tackles, five interceptions and two fumble recoveries; also had 22 receptions for 315 yards and three touchdowns, while also serving as the team’s punter and holder.

Sherrod Covil

Oscar Smith, defensive back, 6-0, 190, junior

  • Helped lead the Tigers to the Class 6 state title.
  • A four-star prospect and Under Armour All-American with more than 40 Division I offers, Covil had 26 tackles, three interceptions and two defensive touchdowns.

Luca Weber

Maury, punter, 6-2, 175, senior

  • Two-time first-team All-Tidewater selection.
  • Averaged 36.9 yards on punts.
