Sydney Miller earned a hat trick for the Patriots, and her sister Skylar, along with Ava Bourne, rang up scores to cap the quarterfinal win for First Colonial (14-1).

Ella Schofield recorded her eighth shutout of the season as the Cavaliers (14-3) won their quarterfinal. Ten players scored goals, with Ava Rodgers notching two.

G: Wilson 3, Rassool 2, Rich 2, Trombly.

Kirklyn Wilson led all scorers with three goals and an assist. Ava Rassool (24 goals for the season) and Ireland Rich added two goals each. Emily Trombly chipped in an insurance goal, and Kate Hobbs earned the shutout. Cox and Princess Anne will clash in a semifinal at Bayside next Wednesday at 7 p.m.

William Katchmark managed a huge victory at No. 2 singles for the Hawks, who clinched a state tournament berth by knocking out the defending champions. Gavin Hoeflich won a 10-7 match tiebreaker at No. 6. Owen Cycyk and freshman James Jenson clinched the victory with a 6-3, 6-1 triumph on line 2. The result kept Princess Anne from taking region titles in all three phases of play — Harrison Lee took the singles title and won the doubles with Zachary Stoney.
