Michael Irby earned the win, pitching six innings, allowing four hits while striking out six. Austin Irby had a three-run home run, and Ryan Delashmutt added an RBI double.

WP: Proctor. LP: Ty James.

Casey Proctor earned the win, striking out five over four-plus innings, and David Fall earned the save in two-plus innings of relief. Fall pitched out of two bases-loaded jams to secure the victory, and Jack Stephens’ single in the third inning drove in what proved to be the winning run.

Great Bridge 14, Manor 0

Matthew Good, Caden Ward and Calvin Mabry combined for seven hits and seven RBIs. Adam Emhoff gave up no hits and earned the win on the mound.

Hunter Santilli hit a two-run single in the bottom of the seventh inning as the No. 2 seed Colonials escaped 10th-seeded Lafayette at Shepherd Stadium. Braden Lee was 3 for 3 to lead the Rams.

Lakeland 5, York 4

The Cavaliers’ Cole Harrington was 2 for 2 with two RBIs, and Peyton Brinkley was 2 for 4. Landon Patton provided relief pitching for 4 1/3 innings.

New Kent 7, Hopewell 0

The Trojans shut out the Blue Devils.

Class 6 Region A quarterfinals

Kellam 10, Ocean Lakes 0

Abby Adamek dominated the game, throwing a no-hitter with 11 strikeouts and only two base runners allowed. She also had a hit and two RBIs. Grace Andes, Sydney Harris and Karley Boone all had multiple hits.

Grassfield 4, Western Branch 3

WP: Bailey. LP: O’Neill.

Bailey Murphy had three hits and two RBIs for the Grizzlies, who went ahead 4-1 with a three-run fourth. Winning pitcher Braelyn Bailey had two hits, and Mya Davis was 2 for 3. The Bruins scored twice in the sixth, but Grassfield shut them down in the seventh.

Class 5 Region A semifinals

First Colonial 10, Princess Anne 0

Imari Bond was 3 for 3 with three RBIs and scored a run. Megan Hobbs smashed a home run in the second inning. The winning pitcher, Kailey Jackson, struck out four.

Hickory 12, Kempsville 10

WP: Miller (7-1).

Freshman Riley Reynolds launched a walk-off three run home run — after two other homers in the inning — to complete the Hawks’ improbable comeback in a victory that earned them a state tournament berth.

Kempsville led 10-5 after scoring six runs in its half of the seventh, highlighted by a bases-clearing double by Kaylee Scott. But Hickory freshman Taylor Ryan blasted a three-run homer and senior Sam Smith hit a solo shot to set the stage for Reynolds’ heroics.

The Hawks’ Cali Megaro, Emily Miller and Tegan Gabrielse each had two hits, while Kempsville’s Bri Jones finished 3 for 3 with two RBIs. Hickory, a state runner-up last season, plays First Colonial for the region title Tuesday at Princess Anne.

Cammie Stuffel hit a grand slam. Kennedy Linhardt had a home run. Cierra Gawryluk struck out 10 and yielded no earned runs. Mimi Burton, Whitney DeFreitas and Gawryluk had three hits each, and Taylor Shreck had two.

Granby 21, Kecoughtan 4

The Comets had 21 hits, led by Lovie Norman’s 4-for-5 performance. Cam Hamilton hit two homers, and Destiny Harris and Madison Crace also homered. The Comets advanced to the Class 5 Region B championship game.

Parker Rowden only allowed one hit. Hannah Ferrell, Gabbie Kleier and Cassie Kleier each had two hits, with Cassie Kleier also scoring a run.

Kellam (16-0) recorded its 11th consecutive shutout and 14th of the season. The Knights have surrendered just two goals all season — none since April 6 against First Colonial.

Maury’s Patrick Stiles and Menchville’s Matthew Onoff will play each other at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Huntington Park in Newport News for the singles title and a state semifinal berth.

Friday, Stiles overcame teammate John Felts 6-4, 6-0 while Onoff was blanking Granby’s Spencer Villanueva 6-0, 6-0.

Soon after the singles final, Stiles and Felts will face Onoff and Owen Balingit. The champions in each bracket will claim state semifinal berths.

Top-seeded Victoria Epps of Menchville and second-seeded Kamila Bardoun of Maury easily advanced to Tuesday’s 10 a.m. singles final, which will be held concurrently with the boys’ version.

In Friday’s semis, Epps shut out Nansemond River’s Virginia Roberts 6-0, 6-0 while Bardoun defeated Menchville’s Erin Pridgen 6-1, 6-0.

The doubles title match will follow soon after, with Epps and Pridgen meeting Bardoun and Sabine Krigsvold. Those finals will have state semifinal spots at stake.

In team play last week, the champion Commodores and runner-up Nansemond River captured state quarterfinal spots.

Tabb teammates Valentina Crespo and Malini Dharmi found their way to the singles final with victories Friday.

Crespo defeated New Kent’s Katie Ross 6-2, 6-1, while Dharmi downed York’s Chelsea Spivey 6-2, 6-0.

Like her brother Nicolas, Crespo is seeded No. 1 and is set to play for the title at 9 a.m. Tuesday at CNU, giving the Tigers an opportunity for sibling champions.

The doubles title match will follow. Crespo and Dharmi are playing together in that bracket, and the champions in each division will garner state semifinal spots.

Last week, New Kent won the team title and Lakeland was second, ensuring state berths.
