What’s the fate of the vacant lot next to the new Black Rifle Coffee Company store in Virginia Beach?

Sam’s Xpress Car Wash is expected to build on that lot, previously the home to Scores Plaza Shopping Center.

The developed site will contain a 4,114-square-foot single-bay car wash, and a gas station with 10 fuel pumps, according to city planning documents.

The North Carolina–based chain opened its first store in 2012, and has nine locations operating in Virginia, according to its website.

The site is on Virginia Beach Boulevard, between Newtown Road and Witchduck Road.
