What’s coming to the vacant area at the intersection of Dam Neck and Rosemont roads?

Whistle Express Car Wash has a conditional use permit to operate a store on that property.

The site plan calls for a 3,710-square-foot single-bay car wash building, with 20 parking spaces for the vacuum stations and three parking spaces designated for employees, according to city documents.

The proposed hours of operation for the car wash are 7 a.m. to 8 p.m., seven days per week.

An existing electrical right-of-way and shared-use path will remain adjacent to the property, though there will be a minor relocating of the path to avoid conflicts between vehicles and pedestrians.
