NORFOLK — Saturday’s Elizabeth River Gospel Fest: Then and Now will bring some of the biggest names in contemporary music to Norfolk’s Town Point Park.
The lineup includes Grammy Award-winning artists such as Bishop Hezekiah Walker and Tye Tribbett, with earlier performances by popular local talent. The event is sponsored by Men for Hope, a nonprofit founded by Tony Brothers, a Norfolk native, NBA referee and philanthropist. The organization targets young men and single women raising boys, and provides mentorship and support for education and financial literacy programs.
