Bring the family on Saturday, June 3, to Northwest River Park for a “Fireside Chat,” hosted by Chesapeake Parks, Recreation and Tourism.

The free event is from 7:30-8:30 p.m. and includes marshmallows for roasting and campfire tales by the open flame.

Come learn how George Washington and Alexander Hamilton achieved victory over Great Britain and helped to build the world’s strongest democracy.

“Washington and Hamilton: The Great Partnership” will be presented by Dr. William Chrystal, an author, pastor and historic interpreter on June 5, at 7 p.m. at the Great Bridge Battlefield & Waterways Museum.
