The Granby Street Bridge The Granby Street Bridge in Norfolk, Virginia, that moves traffic over the Lafayette River will be getting a substantial overhaul starting in Sept. 2020. The bridge will remain open to traffic during the repairs but one side of the divided bridge will be closed for six months at a time. The job is expected to be done late 2022.
