Man dies, ‘known suspect’ at large after shooting in Virginia Beach

Virginia Beach — Police are investigating a shooting that killed a man Tuesday in Virginia Beach.

The department tweeted about the shooting in the 500 block of Elm Grove Court, off Bass Lake Road shortly before 8 p.m.

Officials are looking for a “known suspect,” but did not release information about a description.

The victim has not been identified, nor did police release information about a possible motive.

Police said the scene is still active.
