Portsmouth police still looking for Sunday’s shooter

Portsmouth police detectives are still investigating a fatal shooting that happened Sunday afternoon.

Police were called to the 800 block of Nottingham Road, in a neighborhood off Airline Boulevard, around 2 pm, where they found 35-year-old Andre Bethea of Portsmouth dead.

Anyone with information is asked to call 1-888-LOCK-U-UP, submit tips through the “P3 Tips” app or at the Portsmouth Crime Line website at www.portsmouthcrimeline.com.

As always, Crime Line tipsters are never asked to give their name or required to testify in court.

If a tipster’s information leads to an arrest in this case, they could be eligible for a cash reward of up to $1,000.
