Shots fired at McDonald’s has Beach police hunting for tips

Virginia Beach police are still looking for the man who fired shots at a McDonald’s on Northampton Boulevard Sunday night.

Witnesses told police that the man was inside the fast food restaurant, got into a dispute with employees, went outside and began firing a weapon in the direction of the building, which is located near the intersection with Burton Station Road.

No one was injured, despite the fact that there were several customers inside as well as employees.

Police got the call at 8:49 p.m. The shooter, described only as a black male, was gone by the time they arrived.

Tipsters will remain anonymous and could be eligible for a cash reward up to $1,000 if their information leads to an arrest.
