Breeze Airways brings back seasonal direct flights from Norfolk to Los Angeles

Hampton Roads travelers experiencing some “California Dreamin’” are once again in luck.

Breeze Airways is bringing back seasonal direct flights to Los Angeles this summer from Norfolk International Airport, the discount carrier announced Friday.

The flights to Los Angeles International Airport begin Friday and start at $166 one-way. Flights run every Friday and Monday through Sept. 4.

In February, Breeze announced seasonal flights to Portland, Maine; Syracuse, New York; Akron-Canton, Ohio; and Raleigh-Durham, North Carolina.

The airline is also bringing back seasonal flights to Jacksonville, Florida; Pittsburgh; and Columbus, Ohio starting this month.

“It’s been exciting to watch Breeze Airways grow as a new air carrier, and Norfolk is proud to be a partner in this venture,” said Norfolk Mayor Kenny Alexander in the announcement.

Breeze Airways came to Norfolk in June 2021 and offers service to 19 locations.
