And their willingness to wear a suit on a Saturday afternoon.

The occasion: the 3rd Annual Daddy Daughter Dance, held at the Sheraton Norfolk Waterside.

In all those daddy arms, the happiest-looking little girls in the world.

For a few hours, they had it all. Princess dresses and sparkly shoes and rhinestone tiaras. Balloons and flowers and fairy tale carriages pulled by white horses.

And they had daddy, all to themselves.
