Wilford Kale is a veteran journalist, having been a professional writer for nearly 60 years. He has lived in the Greater Williamsburg area for more than 55 years. He is a history devotee and has written or edited 11 nonfiction books. Previously, he worked with the Richmond Times-Dispatch as bureau chief and senior writer for 24 years.
