Outreach to Black communities for Alzheimer’s research trying to change perception of modern trials

Black Americans are twice as likely to get Alzheimer's than other Americans and researchers at Hampton University and Eastern Virginia Medical School are trying to find the cause. However, they are also trying to address a root issue in making sure safe and effective treatments are available to Black Americans by dispelling misconceptions about the modern medical trial process.
